Séamus F. Murphy
Nicknamed "Famous Séamus" (pronounced Shaymus) he inspires his students with his heart and soul striking a transcending balance between fun, fitness, nautical education and life lessons.
Born and raised in Ireland, Séamus joined the American Navy at age 18 and retired as a Master Chief 26 years later. He fell in love with sailing while stationed at San Diego and, after being transferred in 1997, brought his passion to Honolulu—where he lives today with his wife Tina.
He has spent years crewing racing sailboats between the islands and sailed a Beneteau 427 from San Francisco to Hawaii. Séamus is a US SAILING Certified Instructor and Navy MWR Sailing Instructor. His knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm offer his students—both kids and adults alike—an unparalleled entrance into the wonders of the sport and the magnificence of the sea.

Kelsie Muller
Kelsie Muller grew up in Hawaii. At a young age she began drawing pictures of the light beaming from people, animals, nature, and inanimate objects. Her dream as a child was for world peace. Her dream today is that every child in the world discovers the Light within and learns how to manifest it in their life.
Kelsie is an educator, writer, musician, artist, and light healer. She received her massage license in 1999 in Seattle, Washington, and earned a B.A. in Education from Flinders University, South Australia in 2002.
She also received training in Sathya Sai Education in Human Values in Thailand. While there, she taught for two years and wrote a thesis on Service Learning as a tool for teaching children how to embody Love, Truth, Peace, Right Conduct, and Non-violence within their character. In 2002 she spent five weeks teaching Aboriginal children in Australia. In 2007 she spent the year teaching at a Sathya Sai School in Durban, South Africa.
Kelsie has led the Light Meditation for children around the world. She has lectured on the importance of Meditation, Are in India, Thailand, South Africa, and Hawaii. She wrote a program for and facilitated a two-day experiential learning camp for teenagers in Hawaii.

Mateo Madani
Mateo Madani left behind a life as a wealthy entrepreneur when his successes suddenly began to meet with an ever-increasing sense of emptiness. He would later describe this period of painful and sudden shift of awareness as the inauguration of his awakening. Forsaking the safe harbor of his material comfort, he began a journey of self-discovery that took him as far as Cambodia and Costa Rica. Mateo's spiritual journey has continued ever since—having now blossomed into teaching, advocacy, and philanthropy. He is the founder of Centre Yoga Plus in Canada, and The Hawaii Yoga Retreat in Molokai. He offers certified teacher training courses in Kriya Hatha Yoga as well as workshops on Spiritual Awakening. Fred Barnett
Fred Barnett has been a professional underwater videographer, joke writer, performer and musician, wood carver (hellotiki.net), music and marine science instructor, and a cartoonist for the Garden Island Newspaper in Hawaii.
Mr. Barnett’s previous works include two videos, Hawaiian Reef Fish Madness and Hanauma: A Day at the Bay, two music albums and one CD, Souvenirs, with Wiki Waki Woo, and two books, The Complete Humu and Silly Songs of the South Seas. His first full-length novel, Shark Fin Soup--A Tale of Shark Gods, Cannibals, Mad Cows, and Endless Love, he promises, will be completed and released at some point in the 21st century.
Mr. Barnett claims his “real life’s purpose,” as revealed through recurrent dreams, is to feed his two cats. He was born in New York and raised in the sunny state of California. He currently resides in Kailua, Hawaii, with his wife, Jan-Joy Sax, and their two cats, Maui and Felicity.
